                                        1910

The years 1910s and 2012 are very diferrent every thing about  it is diferent the way people dress the toys and  the tecnolagy. the population in the 1910s was 92,407,000 and 2,500.000 unemployed . The nickname of the 1910s was Gilded.
Most of there toys were made by japanse toys - maker and Germany and they would ship the toys over toamerica makers . some of the toys kids in the 1910s would play with were

In the 1910s women  would put up there hair in a hat and would wear long dresses and skrits . Men would wear all black suits or trouses with suspenders.

world war 1

There was a lot of different types of weapons used in world war 1 that we might not use today in this time period. there was different types of warfare . and communication that was also used that we might know about so in this essay u will learn about the different type of things that were used in world war 1.

there were  a lot of weapons used in world war 1 such  as artillery, machine guns and zeppelin. Artillery was used to deliver devastating to blow up their enemys , artillery is described as large-  caliber mounted field gun. Machine guns was not used much as a weapon for soldiers but it wasused as a replacement for more than 80 guns , machine guns were overheated really fast , zeppelin were know as airship that were used to bomb and get ride of german .

They had lots of warfare in world war 1 such as Trench warfare that  started around the time of the Civil War and continued on into Vietnam ,Gas warfare was very effective. So effective that it was banned, and that ban is pretty much observed by all the governments of the world, to this day.  some of the warfare they still use to are  machine guns are still used now to fight in wars also are tanks.

in world war 1 they didn't have as much communication as we have now they only had as many as 3 . they used carrier pigeons to transport messages. The birds used their homing instincts to carry routine messages and information in the heat of battle they also  send messages via Morse code, using a special lens to concentrate the light into a more powerful beam. Telephones allowed units on different parts of a WWI battlefield to communicate with each other so they also used that as communication.

in conclusion , the new forms of  defense during world war 1 played a major role in the war effort by fighting for our country but many soldiers had died because they weapons were not as good as the ones we have today

MICE AND MEN

At the end of the book’’Of Mice And Men’’ George kills his best friend Lennie in the back of his head. Three reason why George did the correct thing b killing Lennie himself is because George would not want to see some one else to kill Lennie ,the second reason George did the correct thing is because if Curly would of killed Lennie Curly would of made his death really painful . Third reason George did the correct thing by killing Lennie is because Lennie would not of know how to take care of himself.

The first reason George did the correct thing by killing Lennie is because George would not want to see someone else killing Lennie .In the text it said ’’George voice was almost a whiper . He looked steadily at his right heand that had the gun’’. George was hurt because he killed Lennie but if someone else would of killed Lennie he would of been torned and depressed.

The second reason why George did the correct thing be killing Lennie  is because if Curly would of killed Lennie he would of made his death really painful. Since the start Curly never liked Lennie .’’ in the text it said Curley gon’ta wanta get ‘ im lynched Curly ‘ll get ‘ im killed ‘’

The third reason why George did the correct thing by killing Lennie is because Lennie would not know how to take care of himself . Lennie loves to feel soft thing and once he felt a girl dress so the girl thought he was trying to rape her . Lennie has the mind of a five year old , he do not know how to take care of himself because all his life Groege and his aunt took care of him.

In conclusion.Lennie was going to die anyways , because if George did not kill him Carlson or curly would of . Lennie loves to feel things  he is to strong and he dont even know how strong he his .

The Genocide

During the 20th century more than 2,000,000 people died . Due to the fact of genocide . Two examples of a genocide was the Cambodian genocide where leader Pol Pot killed chineses and muslims and He Holocaust where Hitler killed millions of Jews. With both  genocide they had lots of differences and similarities.
The reason for the genocide that took place during the Holocaust and in the genocide in Cambodia was that in the Holocaust Hitler Killed Jews. In the text is said “During  the Holocaust, the Nazis were determined to annihilate the Jewish people because they blamed them for all the problems of the German people”. During the genocide, Cambodian leader Pol Pot killed Chinese and Muslims. In the passage it said that “throughout Cambodia, deadly purges were conducted to eliminate  remnants of the “old society”. In the both genocide that took place during the both century people were getting killed for unfair reasons. In both genocide Jews, Cham Muslims and Chinese had to work long hours, or didn’t get to each as much. In the passage it said that “ workdays in the fields began around 4 AM and lasted until 10 PM”. More people was killed then who survived.
Hitler and Pol Pot blamed people for no fair reason. They both killed and made people like really bad for many different reasons. In the genocides Cambodia money was forbidden, but in the Holocaust thats how most people got to leave. Leader Pol Pot made Muslims eat meat. In the Holocaust people was getting killed to eat soup against each other. In the passage it said that “ Khmer Rouge also forced Muslims to eat pork and shot those who refused”.
In Conclusion, What both these men did was very bad they killed many lives for dumb and selfish reasons.

Imagine living in the 1840s were they had no TV no computers no video games and no type of technology .
Some of type the different type of games ids played in 1840 was board games such as Egypt or Mesopotamia. They did stuff like industrialization division of labor between women and men. Some of the beliefs parents had about the toys their children played with in the 1840s were than kids still had to have a proper adult behavior.

Some materials kids used you the 1840s were to construct toys from acorn they made believe it was a part of a tea party ,or they  would use a broom sick and made believe it was a horse some of the popular games they had back then was called  ‘‘the mansion of happiness game’’ this was a game that showed kids life lessons. there was a lot of lessons while kids played games back in the 1840s . some of there lessons were life lessons shush as thrift, honesty, and industry.

from all the games and toys kids had in the 1840 my favitor had to be the broom sick and making  believe it was a horse. i say this because  even now little kids love usinng broom sick and act like they riding n a housr also becouse when i was little even i played with a broom sick and actted like it was a housrse just for the fun of it .
